One Kings Lane is one of my top retail sources for both myself and for clients! If you haven't been to their site yet, please do yourself a favor and jump on there! It's full of awesome inspiration and style guides, great blog articles, and of course full of amazing product. The company started out as a "daily deals" site, but over the years they have transitioned to a more standard online retailer and also added their own collection of furniture and lighting. I have sourced from their collection before and they have always had some great pieces, but this fall launch is just stellar! Because I loved it so much I thought I would share some inspiration and some of my favorite pieces from the collection!
I have bedroom design on the brain lately as I am starting to gather a plan for my own master bedroom. I so put together this mood board using some of my favorite pieces from the OKL fall collection, and also adding in a few other favorites!
I started with the bed wall since that's typically our focal point in a bedroom. OKL has had a great selection of upholstered beds and headboards for a while now, but I was so excited when I saw this new cloud print which is part of the Modern Bohemian Dwell Studio collection with Robert Allen! Can we talk about this bench?! This is one of my favorite prints from Kelly Wearstler! OKL added this print on several different pieces in their collection including a headboard, chairs, and a settee but I decided to bring it in on the bench! Also from the new fall collection are these lamps! They are a beautiful contemporary slate color with a matte finish, and this timeless shape makes them a total classic piece.
If there is room, I love to add a seating area in a master bedroom ... and there are so many options for using any combination of these pieces depending on the amount of space you have! The settee, arm chairs, and coffee table are all from the OKL fall collection. I love the juxtaposition of the classic camel back settee upholstered in the contemporary take on a navy stripe! These clean lined arm chairs are simple, but with just enough character to them they are far from boring! I have total heart eyes for this bronze coffee table ... yummy!
The last elements I brought into the design plan is this dresser wall, since the vast majority of us need some clothes storage in our bedrooms! While this gorgeous dresser isn't part of the OKL collection, I just had to add it because I love it so much (isn't it pretty, it's on my wish list for my own master!). But, the beautiful lamp is part of the OKL fall collection. Same classic shape as the lamps from the nightstands, but this has a textural gray glaze that almost reminds me of an African mud cloth fabric! So fun! The painting can be found on OKL as well and it served as that perfect piece to pull all the colors and elements in the room together!
I would love to have this master, and I think I just stumbled upon the beginnings of my own room design! What do you all think?!
